Photograph of the six eldest children of Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich. Standing from left to right are Prince John Constantinovich (1886-1918), Prince Gabriel Constantinovich (1887-1955), Princess Tatiana Constantinovna (1890-1979), Prince Constantine Constantinovich (1891-1918), Prince Oleg Constantinovich (1892-1914) and Prince Igor Constantinovich (1894-1918). The boys are all wearing sailor suits. Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich was the second son of Grand Duke Constantine Nikolayevich. He was a patron of the arts and a respected poet. He had eight children who survived into adulthood.
