Reproduction of an original photograph of Queen Olga of the Hellenes. She is standing at the end of a bed, holding the frame with her right hand. She is wearing the uniform of a nurse including an apron, cape and veil. Queen Olga of the Hellenes was the eldest daughter of Grand Duke Constantine Nikolayevich. In 1867 she married George I, King of the Hellenes. She took an active interest in nursing, establishing a number of hospitals and the Greek Red Cross.
