Photograph of the Queen's Guard Chamber, with the massive marble bust of Admiral Horatio Nelson by Francis Chantrey (RCIN 69609), placed on a section of the damaged foremast of HMS Victory (RCIN 73744), which is enclosed by a circular spiked rail; on the floor is a cannon ball (which is was said to have hit the foremast during the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805) and a double headed shot from the Spanish warship Santissima Trinidada which was fired into HMS Victory in 1805, presented to Queen Victoria; and various objects of interest and rifles. A large cannon gun is to left and another smaller cannon or mounted gun is in the foreground. To left of the window (which is covered up) is a suit of armour in a niche.
