Photograph of the State Dining Room, Room 187 at Windsor Castle, viewed towards the triple mirror glass wall. The carpet is in a Gothic rose design which would have been crimson; there is a long rectangular dining table covered in a Gothic-pattern cloth and set of giltwood dining chairs (RCIN 236). At the far end of the room is the Morel and Seddon sideboard said to have been designed by AWN Pugin, unfortunately destroyed in the 1992 fire. In the window is a magnificent gold cauldron (RCIN 31768) under glass, set upon a table designed by AWN Pugin (RCIN 29880). The door in the corner leads to the Oak Dining Room.
