The photograph shows the facade of a church identified as St. Germain L'Auxerrois, in Paris, with a central round window above five gothic arches at ground level. An angel stands at the top of the central gable roof. Other buildings to the left and right. The reverse of the frame has two black ink stamps - one indicating the object was acquired by Queen Victoria, and the other is a Balmoral inventory stamp from 1873.
