Princess Christian was the fifth child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and was born on the 25th May 1846 at Buckingham Palace. She married Prince Christian of Schleswig Holstein in 1866 in the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle. Her first daughter, Princess Helena Victoria was on the 3 May 1870. During her lifetime, Princess Helena Victoria worked for various charitable organisations including the Young Men's and Young Women's Christian Association. She died in London on the 13 March 1948.
