Princess Christian was the fifth child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and was born on the 25th May 1846 at Buckingham Palace. She married Prince Christian of Schleswig Holstein in 1866 in the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle. The couple had six children including two sons who died in infancy.
