Three quarter length photograph of Queen Victoria. She is shown seated in three quarter view, facing left with her head turned slightly towards the right. She is resting her right elbow on a small round pedestal table on the left of the scene, on which is placed a pile of photographs. She is resting her chin on her right hand, whilst her left hand rests in her lap. She is wearing a black silk gown, embellished with jet beading on the bodice and the cuffs, over a white blouse. She is wearing a white cap and veil, a chain on her bodice and rings on the fingers of both hands.Provenance
