Photograph of Tsesarevna Maria Feodorovna, later Empress of Russia. She is standing with her head turned slightly to the right and her hands resting on the back of a chair. She is wearing a dress decorated with bows and a pearl necklace, and is holding a folded fan. A small dog lies on the chair beside her and there is a table behind, on which there are several books and two large tassels from the curtain behind.
