Description

Photograph taken in a sitting room at Amalienborg Palace with Queen Louise of Denmark (1817-98), Alexandra, Princess of Wales (1844-1925) and Thyra, Duchess of Cumberland (1853-1933) (right). There is much furniture, including racks of photographs and framed photographs on every surface. One of the photographs on Queen Louise's table is of Queen Victoria holding her first grandson (later King Edward VIII) with the Prince of Wales and his son, then Duke of York, taken in 1894.
