Half-length photograph of Alexandra Feodorovna, Empress of Russia. She is facing right and is holding an open book. She is wearing evening dress including jewellery and a small tiara. Alexandra Feodorovna, formerly Princess Alix of Hesse, married Nicholas II at the Winter Palace on the 26th of November 1894. Along with their children they were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918.
