Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna was the eldest daughter of Alexander III, Emperor of Russia and his consort Maria Feodorovna, Empress of Russia. She married her cousin Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich at the Peterhof Palace in August 1894.
