Green leather bound album covered in a cloth outer wrapping. Marbled endpapers with 72 pages. Includes gelatin photographs of the Mediterranean Cruise taken by Alexandra, Princess of Wales. RCINs 2923471 - 2923542. This is the second holiday album to be compiled by the Princess of Wales, displayed open to show the Princess and her two daughters, Princess Victoria and Maud, Princess Charles of Denmark, in Corfu. The Princess of Wales’s brother, formerly Prince William of Denmark, had been elected as King of the Hellenes in 1863, taking the name of King George I, and holidays in Greece subsequently became a favourite relaxation for the Princess.
