Photograph of the statue of Queen Victoria that was erected in the Victoria Gardens, now known as the Rani Bagh, in Mumbai, India. The statue was designed by the British sculptor Matthew Noble and was commissioned by the Maharajah Khanderao Gaikw or Baroda. The statue was unveiled by the then Governor on the 29th April 1872 and represents the Queen as seated in the House of Lords. The Queen wears a diadem and holds a sceptre in her right hand and is seated under a marble canopy.
