Photograph of the Memorial Arch built by John Milne to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to the town in 1861. The arch is of Gothic design. Various figures stand underneath the arch including a woman with a child in a perambulator. On the right stands the sign to the Eagle Inn.
