A photograph of Silwood Park in Sunningdale, near Ascot, a large red brick house designed by Alfred Waterhouse, viewed from the garden. On the opposite page (RCIN 2426473) are autographs of guests at the house, dated 18 June 1896. During Ascot Week the house was lent by Thomas Cordes to be used by members of the Royal Family.
