Photograph of a camp at the Imperial Assemblage that took place near Delhi in 1877. In the middle ground stand soldiers placed at intervals and wearing pith helmets. Behind them are cannons and piles of cannon balls stacked in small pyramids. In the background are rows of tents placed on either side of open ground.
