Photograph of the ground on which the 1877 Delhi Durbar was held. On the left and in right side profile, are mounted troops, wearing Pith helmets. Behind them, is a covered audience stand with dignitaries inside. On the right, in the background, stands the central dais or Royal Pavilion, decorated with shields and medieval style pennants.
