Photograph of a general view of the 1877 Delhi Durbar ground. On the right stands the central dais decrated with pennants and a central crown at the top. It is surrounded by the amphitheatre that held selected spectators. More spectators including soldiers on horseback, congregate on the left of the foreground and in the background. Elephants may also be seen amongst the crowd.
