Photograph of a yacht in the Bay of Reval. The yacht is crowded with people and there is a rowing boat in the water in front of it. Behind the yacht to the left there is a larger yacht and land can be seen in the distance. In June 1908 King Edward VII and Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia met in the Bay of Reval, now Tallinn. As well as a family gathering the meeting served an important diplomatic purpose in the aftermath of the 1907 Anglo-Russian Entente, which settled colonial disputes and instigated the Triple Entente.
