Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1850-1942) is sitting to the far right with Princess Louise Margaret, Duchess of Connaught (1860-1917) sitting beside him to the left. There is a row of men wearing ceremonial military uniform standing behind them. The coronation of Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia was held at the Kremlin on the 26 May 1896. The celebrations lasted for several weeks and were attended by many foreign royals and dignitaries.
