Photograph showing the arrival of Queen Victoria at Smith's Lawn, Windsor Great Park, with two large marquees erected, one at the back, full of people standing up, the other is empty with chairs; to left is a rectangular brick structure with blocks of stone, which is the foundation stone of the equestrian statue of the Prince Consort. The area on the right appears to have been 'touched-up' (probably spoiled by moving people). Smith's Lawn is now a polo playing area in Windsor Great Park.
