Photograph of Sir Mir Turab Ali Khan, Salar Jung I; three-quarter length, seated, wearing the insignia of the Order of the Star of India. Annotated in pencil along the bottom of the mount: Salar Jungh.
Sir Salar was the Prime Minister of Hyderabad State 1853-1883, and was made a Grand Commander of the Star of India on 28 May 1870. He visited England in 1876.
