Hand painted photograph of a full length portrait of Henry Moore, Marquis of Drogheda (1835-92) dressed as a Viscount Moore, one of his ancestors and a contemporary of King Charles I (1600-49). Moore poses with his right hand on his hip and his left hand hanging by his side, holding a pair of gloves. The costume was worn at a fancy dress ball given by James Hamilton, 1st Duke of Abercorn (1811-85) at the Viceregal Lodge, Dublin.
