Photograph of a double head and shoulder length portrait of Princess Maud, later Countess of Southesk (1893-1945) and Princess Alexandra, later 2nd Duchess of Fife (1891-1959). The sisters face the camera, their bodies slightly angled to the right. They gaze outwards, to the right. The both wear light colour gown and single strand pearl necklaces. Decoration has been added with watercolour.
