Photograph of Charlotte Martha, Lady Shelley, standing three-quarters left her right hand resting on the back of a chair.

This may in fact be Lady Frances Shelley (1787-1873), a noted Diarist and friend of the Duke of Wellington. She lived on the Isle of Wight in her later years and had tea with Queen Victoria.
