Carte-de-visite Mrs Mary Ann Miles, wife of Wiliam Miles, who was Tapissier at Osborne before he retired in 1881. Half-length, arms resting on a chair, looking at the camera. Vignette.
According to the 1881 Census report for Windsor, William and Mary Miles were living with Emma Brown and her daughter Victoria at 19 Victoria Street, Windsor. They were listed as 'Uncle and Aunt', so they seemed to have been related to Emma and Archibald Brown, who was in the Royal Household as Valet about this time. -
