Carte-de-visite photograph of Emma Baker, a member of the Royal Household (Assistant in the Coffee Room), circa 1870. Three-quarter length seated, resting chin on right hand and resting right arm on back of a chaise-longue, on which she sits. She is recorded in the 1871 Census for Windsor Castle as aged 40 and unmarried, from Windsor. Her father was a Cordwainer, that is, a shoe-maker, in Windsor.
