Louise was one of thirteen children born to Prince Karl Ludwig of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Countess Amalie Henriette of Solms-Baruth. In 1819 she married Adolf Karl Ludwig Friedrich, Prince of Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen and the couple had five children.
