Princess Blanche was the fourth child of Louis, Duc de Nemours, and Victoire, daughter of Duke Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, who died two weeks after her birth. In her letters to Queen Victoria, Blanche's aunt Princess Clemetine, mentions Blanche's poor health and difficult character. In 1932 Blanche died unmarried in Paris.Provenance
