Her hair is arranged in a centre parting and a chignon and she is shown from a frontal viewpoint. She is wearing a dark coloured dress over a white blouse with a large cross pendant on a necklace. She has a heavy link bracelet on her left wrist and a wedding and engagement ring on her wedding finger. Her baby is wearing a pale coloured garment.

In 1872 Princesse Marguerite of Orleans became the second wife of Prince Wladyslaw Czartoryski and the couple had two sons.
