The sitter is seated on an upholstered wooden chair and he is wearing a mid-coloured double-breasted frock coat with lapels of a darker, contrasting material. He is wearing a fez hat and rests his hands in his lap. He is wearing a large ring on the little finger of his right hand.
He was the son of Sultan Abdul Aziz I and the Crown Prince of the Ottoman Empire from 1909 until his death.Provenance
