Carte-de-visite depicting a full-length portrait of Friedrich, Crown Prince of Prussia. He is sitting with his left foot crossed over his right, facing three-quarters left. He is wearing a military uniform and knee high boots with spurs. On his left hand side he is wearing a star, possibly of the Order of the Black Eagle. He is also wearing a dark coloured armband around his left arm. His right hand is resting on the hilt of a sword, which is positioned in front of him and between his legs. His left hand is resting on his left hip. His right leg is partially covered by material.
