The Crown Prince is standing and faces the viewer. Princess Charlotte (1860-1919) is sitting on a plinth on the right of the photograph. She is leaning towards her father but faces three-quarters right. Prince Henry (1862-1929) is sitting on a footstool below his sister. He is facing three-quarters right. The Crown Princess is seated, turning three-quarters to the right but facing the viewer. She is holding Prince Sigismund (1864-66) on her lap. Prince Sigismund is facing three-quarters right. Prince Wilhelm (1859-1941) is standing behind his mother on the left of the photograph, with his right hand placed in his pocket. He is facing three-quarters right.
