Carte-de-visite depicting a full-length double portrait of Friedrich August, Hereditary Grand Duke of Oldenburg (1852-1931) and his brother Duke Georg Ludwig of Oldenburg (1855-1939). Friedrich August is standing and faces the viewer. He is holding a hat in his right hand and rests his left hand on a plinth. Georg Ludwig is sitting on the plinth, also facing the viewer. A hat is placed next to him on the plinth. The brothers are both wearing dark coloured suits with light coloured collars. On the left of the photograph stands a chair with a curtain hanging above it.
