Photograph of George V, King of Hanover. He is standing profile left and wears military uniform with the Garter Star on his left breast. His left hand is resting on the hilt of his sword. His helmet is on a plinth in front of him, drapery behind.
George became King of Hanover on 18th November 1851. He was the last king of Hanover. George died on 12th June 1878 in Paris and was buried in St George's Chapel, Windsor.Provenance
