A mantel clock of gilt bronze with four glazed sides covering pierced and engraved silver foliate panels. Concave flat top also glazed, oval breakfront base. Surmounted by a pair of putti and one below the dial. Enamel dial with the 12 hours represented by Roman numerals with blued steel moon hands. The French eight day rack striking mechanism has a going barrel movement and anchor recoil escapement.
