Description

Photograph of Edward VII (1863-1910) when Prince of Wales wearing a top hat and kneeling behind a Maxim Gun as he fires it. He is watched by a large crowd as he fires off the last shot in a hail of smoke. The Prince is accompanied by two men, one of whom is ?Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim (1840-1916).
