Sen and his wife visited Britain for six months in 1870, during which he met Queen Victoria, Prince Leopold and a variety of political leaders, including W. E. Gladstone. See RCINs 2915325 and 2914406 for photographic portraits of Sen's wife, Jaganmohini.
