Description

Photograph of a The Fiacail Phádraig or shrine of St Patrick’s tooth. The shrine, made from wood and encased in bronze is decorated with ecclesiastical figures. The crucified Christ is located in the upper centre of the shrine. Saint Patrick is located beneath him. The shrine dates from the 12th and 14th centuries and is thought to contain one of St. Patrick's teeth.
