Photograph of an engraving of a seated, nude woman and Cupid. The woman, on the right, is seated on a bench, facing three-quarters to the left. She holds her right foot in her left hand. Cupid, presented as a chubby, winged male child, stands and gazes up at the woman. There is a bowl on the floor to the right of the picture. In the background is a window, showing a view of mountains and clouds.
The engraving is by the artist Marcantonio Raimondi, sometimes called Marcantonio (c. 1470-1482 – c.1534).Provenance
