Photograph showing a close-up view of the Parade shield, sometimes known as Cellini's Shield (RCIN 62978). The close up depicts one of the four episodes from the life of Julius Caesar, focusing on The Battle of Pharsalus and death of one of Pompey's generals.

The Parade shield is currently on display in the Queen's Guard Chamber, Windsor Castle. Owing to the high quality, detailed decoration on the shield, during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries the shield was commonly attributed to the Italian Benvenuto Cellini (1500–1571). Cellini did not, however, make any armour during his lifetime.
