Description

Photograph of Caesar, a fox terrier who belonged to King Edward VII. He is standing facing left with his head turned towards the camera.

Caesar was the King's favourite dog, and his collar was inscribed with 'I am Caesar. I belong to the King'. He achieved worldwide fame in 1910 when he joined the funeral procession of his master.
