A set of two porcelain ice pails and covers, one with liner; gilded acorn finial on top of the tall foliate handle; high neck to pail, a loop handle to either side; painted all-over with an oval trellis design in green centred by white and gold stylised flower heads.
Provenance
Part of a dinner service, first recorded in the Royal Collection on the Chamber Floor, Buckingham Palace, sent to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, 1967.
