A mantel clock contained in a slate drum case with a scrolled and rectangular base engraved with geometiric and foliate decoration. The mechanism comprises an eight day rack strike with a going barrel movement and recoil escapement. The glazed enamel dial has the 12 hours represented in Roman numerals and a pair of blued steel moon shaped hands
