Claymore basket-hilted broadsword with domed pommel, tang button. The hilt Scottish, possibly about 1680. Knuckle guard pierced with heart shapes. Full liner of buff twill covered in red cloth bound with blue tape. Plain two-edged Solingen blade and central fuller with incisions.
