A photograph of Prince Leopold Edward and Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, Shah of Persia (1831-96) in an open top carriage with another Persian gentleman, possibly the Prime Minister Mirza Hosein Sepahsalar (1828-81). There is a third Persian gentleman standing to left. This was taken on the Shah's first ever visit to Britain.
The photograph was pasted on a card which had an engraved border but has been crudely cut away. -
