The bowl with rounded sides spreading to the rim. Painted with rectangular panels framed in gilt key-fret on either side, depicting figures in a pavilion and a garden, in a ground of flower sprays and butterflies; between are smaller panels with similar subjects. Round the foot is a key-fret border, and below the rim, a gilt edged border with similar painted panels interspersed with flowers and butterflies. Inside, in the centre of is a basket of flowers, with, above, panelled borders similar to those on the outside.
