Princess Victoria Eugenie, known as ‘Ena’ in the family, was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. She first met King Alfonso XIII of Spain at Buckingham Palace in 1905 and the two married the following year. She wears the Fleur-de-Lys tiara, specially made for her as a wedding gift from her husband, and which is still worn by members of the Spanish Royal Family to this day.Maurice Beck and Helen MacGregor worked collaboratively as chief photographers for British Vogue in the 1920s, appointed by editor Dorothy Todd.
