Photograph album bound in green canvas board front and back with an embossed floral design at the corners and a green leather covered spine containing photographs (RCIN 2702863-2702999) of Penang (now Malaysia), Singapore & Siam (now Thailand).
In 1867, in command of HMS Galatea, Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh left for a voyage around the world. During the tour he visited Singapore and Penang in 1869. This album presented to the Prince by the Bishop of Penang in remembrance of his visit.Provenance
